Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation

You may cancel your MemoryLayer subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. There are no cancellation fees.

  • Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
  • Your data and API key are retained — only the call limit reverts to the Free tier (1,000 calls/month).

2. Refund Policy

MemoryLayer offers the following refund policy for paid subscriptions:

  • 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers — if you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months after the 7-day window.
  • If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact us and we will evaluate refunds on a case-by-case basis.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email billing@memorylayer.in with:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date of the charge
  • Reason for the refund request

We process approved refunds within 5–7 business days. The amount will be credited back to your original payment method.

4. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in cases of:

  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Requests made after the 7-day window without a documented service issue.
  • Downgrade from Pro to Free (the Free plan is free and no charge applies).
